my sister who meant a lot to me but meant more to god xxxx lyn was my eldest sister but she meant a whole lot more to me than that ! she was my sister my friend a mother figure and the king pin of our family,she was always there to listen lend a hand give her advice and organise us all as a family.we're so lost without her it's untrue and although it's been 8 years since we said our last goodnight the pain is still there.it never goes away nor does it get any easier.we were all devestated when we found out lyn had cancer. we all knew she had a tumour under her arm.it became more and more obvious as the weeks passed and she couldn't put her arm by her side.after her operation we found out that the tumour was malignant.words can't describe the pain we all felt our world crashed.but lyn battled on she faced chemo and radio therapy with such courage and bravery.but then lyn faced everything head on.in life she wouldn't let anything beat her,lyn had the will and always found a way.although lyn was ill she wouldn't take things lying down,even on the day she died she walked in to the doctors surgery with very little support.the doctor rang for an ambulance and she was taken in to hospital.even when the nurses sedated her she didn't lie down with out fighting them all the way she grappled with them,but shortly afterwards the medicine overwhelmed her and they put her on a life support machine.we were told she didn't have long so we all sat with her and talked to her until her husband colin made the very brave and difficult descision to let her go.we said our goodbye's and that night i realised what the true meaning of a hero meant.lyn was my hero and i'll love and miss her always xxxxxx i love you lyn god bless you sleeptight xxxxxxxxx i hope you and les are having a ball up there together with all those little angels takecare of them all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

A star fell from heaven ★
and lit up the night
with crystalline diamonds
and ribbons of light.
It sped as it sparkled
with silver and gold
through moonbeams sheer magic;
a sight to behold.
In silence and wonder
we watched as it spread
across its dark course
dazzling colors of red.

but only by chance,
